The Brief

The first deliverable of any project is the Brief which is a comprehensive description of the project - its size, scope, structure, technologies and content as agreed by all major stakeholders. It is detailed enough for us to attribute a fixed price and timeline to the project. For larger projects, this is a major milestone and can account for a large part of the project effort.

Where the project has multiple facets, it is not unusual for it to be defined by a series of such specification documents.
