The projects, organised from the Cabinet Office, range from work on a news-information "Toolbar", to be displayed eventually on all Government Web sites, a Campaign site, which explains the initiative - and advising on an extranet site. UK online is a major government initiative launched by the Prime Minister, Tony Blair, in September 2000. IAB is part of a multi-disciplinary UK online team led by fellow Chime Communications company, Good Relations. IAB's work for UK online has so far included:
Prior to its involvement with UK online, IAB had designed the web site for learndirect - a University for Industry (Ufi) project that supports UK online and is the Government's flagship for lifelong learning. |
