IAB launches XchangePoint Web site

Interactive Bureau has just launched a new Web site for XchangePoint, the leading company in the field of high capacity commercial Internet peering across Europe. XchangePoint had an existing site, which had served its purpose well initially but as the company expanded so did the need for a more sophisticated site to handle a larger volume of information. Interactive Bureau responded to this need by immediately recommending a content management system so that all the new material being generated could be prepared and posted to the site quickly, without recourse to the agency. IAB also worked closely with Harvard pr who had been creating new offline branding guidelines for all of XchangePoint's print material. These guidelines were used as the starting point for creating the new look and feel for the site. Extensive use was made of the brand colours and typefaces to create a site that reflected the offline brand personality. The site structure was totally redesigned to accommodate new sections and editorial areas and also allow for extra areas to be added in the future as the company's needs change. A design guideline document was prepared giving staff at XchangePoint all the information they required to make graphical changes , yet maintaining the integrity of the original design. XchangePoint has live facilities in London, is planning developments in Paris and Frankfurt - and is working on a number of others. |
