IAB moves into property sector
20 Aug 2002 Interactive Bureau has launched two property Web sites where the public can have its say. Interactive Bureau has launched two Web sites, which allow the public to have its say about major property developments. The Web sites for London Bridge Tower and Warrington Time Square provide up-to-date information about the projects as they develop, and are aimed at a wide range of audiences including the press and the public. The general public is taking increasing interest in high-profile building projects and these sites allow them to communicate their questions and opinions; through voting for or against the project, registering for news updates, and writing directly to the senior planning personnel responsible. Developers too, are keen to state their case. A dedicated Web site not only allows developers to get their marketing campaign across, but can assist in gaining acceptance for the development at all levels - from Government and action groups to local residents. Rodney Tyler, Managing Director of Interactive Bureau acknowledges "Gaining public support for these projects is an important part of the planning process and developers are beginning to realise the benefits of an effective marketing site." Interactive Bureau expect to take on a number of similar clients this year as this type of Project based Web site becomes more commonplace. They already share a number of clients with Property PR Company, Good Relations, and the combined service offering is so far proving to be highly successful. |
