Interactive Bureau, London, (IAB) the strategy and design agency, has won a major contract to audit and redesign the online presence of technology giant ARM.

Cambridge-based ARM, who design the chips in 75% of the world's mobile phones - as well a many other applications - appointed IAB after a four-way pitch.

ARM wants to create a portal out of its existing sites, bringing them together into a coherent proposition for its different audiences.

Rodney Tyler, Managing Director of IAB, said:

"This is a great piece of work for us. From the beginning we felt a very good synergy with ARM. They are a fantastic company with a world-class reputation - which we believe we can help enhance."
"Like many sites, the ARM Web presence has grown in a piecemeal fashion. We have been hired, first to audit what they have and how it meets audience requirements - then to pull all the bits together, re-purpose where necessary, add where necessary and create a dynamic new site, which will be a focal point for ARM's business activities."

Interactive Bureau, London was founded in 1997 as a joint venture between Chime Communications and Interactive Bureau LLC of New York. It is now owned by its management. The company's five specialist areas are online and offline branding, Internet strategy, Web site design and build, integrated Web solution development and management of Web sites.

Other clients include AXA, IBM, The Cabinet Office, The Home Office, KPMG, learndirect and The Times. IAB also commissions the annual research reports into the Home Pages of the FTSE-100 corporate sites and the top 20 Government Web sites.
