Interactive Bureau launch new site for Learning & Skills Council
05 Jun 2003 Interactive Bureau has just launched a new Web site for Learning & Skills Council to support their Bite Size Intros campaign for getting adults back into learning. Following on from its success in managing the on-line presence for the Bite Size Intros campaign for 2002, Interactive Bureau were reappointed to review and update the Web presence to reflect the more devolved nature of this year’s campaign. Working closely with the COI, the team at IAB created a site, which is compliant with both technical and accessibility standards and maintains a high quality look and feel. The consumer facing front end of the site also offers viral opportunities for users to market the site to their peers both by email and by integrated SMS messaging. The bespoke Content Management System created for the LSC allowed each of its 50 or so regional offices to securely maintain individual content related to their offerings and to manage enquiries online while granting administrators at headquarters access to monitor enquiries nationally. The site was subsequently awarded Runner Up in the Best Campaign Web site awards at Internet Forum, 2003. |
